Miley Cyrus is extremely upset over breakup with Liam Hemsworth. A source told Star: 'Miley is devastated. She really thought Liam was ‘The One’. Although she did put her career ahead of they’re relationship, she made it clear it to Liam he wouldn’t always come second. She’s hoping they’ll be able to sort it out.'

Liam was spotted getting cozy with a gorgeous blond named Katy, 26, at Shore break Hotel in Huntington Beach, Aug. 7: 'She and a girlfriend approached him at the bar. Girls were fawning over him all night, and he was clearly loving the attention, but he really took a liking to her. They were all throwing back beers and having a great time.

Later, he suggested they all go back to the Doubletree hotel, where they were staying, to keep the party going. Miley’s name was never brought up. He didn’t mention her. Liam exchanged numbers with Katy and he 'promised to call her. They definitely had a strong connection.'

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have seemingly sung their "Last Song," and new details about the couple's split are surfacing. According to sources, 20-year-old Hemsworth may have been stepping out on Cyrus, who has been focusing on her career.

E! News reports that earlier this month, Hemsworth was seen flirting with admirers at a party in Newport Beach and hooking up with another young woman while partying in Huntington Beach during the US Open Surf Competition. Cyrus, 17, has been in Detroit filming the flick "LOL."

"Ever since she left for Detroit, Miley has been super focused on her work," a source described as an "insider close to the former couple" told E! News. "Liam wanted more, but she's 17 and has other priorities right now. He's been a distraction. [Miley's] not with anybody else."

Despite that assertion, rumors are now circulating that Cyrus may be spending quality time with co-star Adam Sevani. A photo of the pair allegedly hanging out on the set of "LOL" has circulated, although it is unclear if it is actually Sevani in the picture.

Hemsworth, who was seen hanging out alone at a Dave Matthews Band concert earlier this week, has reportedly visited the set of "LOL" twice. "Both visits were only about 24 hours in length — by Miley's choice," the insider told E! News. "She is not ready to settle down, and Liam's not a happy camper."

Breakup rumors have plagued the duo in the past, and they have been denied by Cyrus. And E! News' source said that the couple may not be completely over just yet: "They're both young. To say they are done forever would be premature, but it's safe to say for now they are doing their own thing."

However, Hemsworth's rep . Cyrus' refused to comment.

Miley Cyrus filmed LOL at the Grosse Pointe South High School today, reports CANDGNEWS. They shot scenes inside and outside of the school. Fans staked out the Farms house where Miley had been staying. Fans were disappointed that Miley hadn’t come across the street to greet fans or sign autographs. Alex, 14, 'I think she should give more to the fans.'

Charlotte, 10, 'I saw her head out by her trailer. She was really pretty.' Gracie, 8, 'Miley is awesome. She’s just a good influence on young girls.' Crew members were assigned to crowd control, making sure pedestrians could still get across the sidewalk and moving the crowds. The crew told onlookers they couldn’t take pictures of the closed set when they were shooting, but some people still did.

Miley Cyrus is scheduled film the music video for 'Who Owns My Heart'. Miley is teaming up with Robert Hales who directed 'Can't Be Tamed'. 'Who Owns My Heart' is up for European release, 'Two More Lonely People' is US release.

From Cassie: My mom asked me to run to Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan to pick up something for her today around 8:30 PM. I saw Miley looking at jewelry in the Junior's department called BP at Nordstrom and I went up to her and said 'I know you don't want to hear it from another fan, but can I just get a picture with you really quick?' She said, 'Yah but hurry because my friends will get pissed'.

She was with 3 other people.. 2 girls and one boy. She was very rude. I went up to the cashier to pick up what I needed and I told her Miley was right over my right shoulder and when Miley walked by the cashier said 'can I help you with anything?' and Miley just completely ignored her and continued walking. She was wearing a see through white shirt and had a Neiman Marcus bag with her.

Miley Cyrus intervew with the Montreal Gazette. She will NOT burn her Hannah Montana wig: 'No, I just made a joke and everyone started flipping out. I'm not really going to burn it.. I already burned it, Just kidding!' On Hannah ending:

'You don't want it to grow up too much, where the younger audience feel they can't watch the show anymore. But also, (don't) go backwards and make it so young that you lose the older fans that you have. So I think it's just kind of come to a point where there's not much more we could do with (the show).'

On being a role mode: 'Yes, I want to be a role model and have people look up to me, but this also doesn't mean that I am not going to live the way that I want to live or (do) what I think is right. They keep me grounded. But that doesn't mean I'm always going to be perfect.. So I think it's been easier for me to grow up, because I've never faked it, saying that I'm always going to be Hannah forever. I'm going to grow up at some point, and I've been always honest about that.'

On her character's end: 'Life will go on, you know, just the way anyone else's life goes on. We made it more about a new chapter and not about the ending of something. It is the end, but it's also the beginning of something new.'
